Day 1 : Ushuaia

As the capital of Tierra del Fuego province in Argentina, Ushuaia is known as the gateway to Antarctica and the South Pole. Referred to as “El fin del mundo” by locals, this city sits at the edge of the world, nestled between mountains and fertile plains. Surrounded by a dramatic landscape where the Andes meet the sea, Ushuaia is one of the most intriguing places on Earth, embodying the spirit of adventure and exploration.

 

Day 2 & 3 : Drake Passage

Use your time in the Drake Passage to get acquainted with your ship and learn about Antarctica. The Expedition Leader will cover the rules of conduct for landings and zodiac excursions. Enjoy lectures on the history and wildlife of Antarctica, enhancing your understanding of this extraordinary region. You'll experience memorable moments on board and can join naturalist guides on the ship's decks to spot albatrosses, petrels, and other seabirds.
