Enjoy a special Christmas on this journey that spans the Antarctic Peninsula to South Georgia. Visit the historic Stanley, FalklandsMalvinas. Then visit South Georgia to see the largest colonies of king penguins in the world. Antarctica is a place of tranquility, beauty, and wonder. You can see penguins hatching, krill-rich whale migrations, and seals on ice.

Day by day

Day 1 : Ushuaia

You will be met by an official upon arrival and taken to the pre-voyage accommodation with other expeditioners. Check-in begins at 3pm if you are already in Ushuaia. Between 3:00 and 7:00 PM, visit the Las Hayas Ushuaia Resort hospitality desk to pick up luggage tags and confirm your participation in Beagle Channel and Isla de Los Lobos Cruise. You will receive information about the expedition and get answers to your questions. Arriving after 7:00pm will receive a welcome package at the check-in desk. The next morning, please visit the Hospitality Desk between 8:00am and 10:00am. All meals are at your expense. The rest of the day can be spent at leisure. Accommodation assigned: Las Hayas Ushuaia Resort, or Los Acebos Ushuaia Hotel.

Day 2 : Embarkation
After checking out in the morning, make sure your luggage is properly tagged and drop it off at the reception before 11:00am. Your luggage will be transported directly to the port and put in your cabin. Always keep valuables on you. You can explore Ushuaia in the morning.
Meet at your hotel at 12:15pm for the 12:30pm transfer to the harbor. Visit the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse and sea lion colony, or explore Beagle Channel. Meet at the lobby of the hotel at 3pm or 3:30pm (details will be provided) to take a shuttle boat out.

As soon as you arrive, check into your room before the mandatory briefings. Gather on deck to enjoy the spectacular views of Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego and the departure of the ship. Enjoy a welcoming dinner in the evening with your fellow adventurers and friendly crew and expedition team to start off this exciting Antarctica journey.

Get a spring in your step when you slip on a pair of snowshoes in Antarctica. Enabling you to easily scale gentle slopes, this unique activity allows you to access hard to reach places and seek out the most impressive views.
Photography
Photography
Learn to capture wildlife and landscape shots in a small group photography program, including critiquing sessions and editing classes. Plus, Explorer Boat excursions with a dedicated photography expert on landings.
Explorer Boats
Explorer Boats
Achieve the best views and photographs from a forward facing Explorer Boats. They allow you to sit comfortably and securely while crackling through the ice-strewn waters. Look out for wildlife such as penguins, seals and whales as you cruise.
Yoga
Yoga
It doesn’t get more serene than complimentary yoga classes to the tune of glacial scenery. Join the most unique exercise setting in the world after a day of exploration. Classes are regular but are dependent on weather conditions and swell.
