Ocean Nova is a great vessel for Antarctic expeditions. This resilient ship, built in Denmark in 1992 for Greenland's ice-covered waters, was designed to be a tough expedition vessel. The reinforced hull of this ship makes it a great choice for Antarctic expeditions. In 2006, the vessel was completely refurbished. Since then, there have been annual upgrades and enhancements.
Ocean Nova is designed for air cruises and can accommodate up to 67 passengers comfortably in its well-appointed cabins. Accommodation options are available in Single Cabins and Twin Cabins. The cabins are equipped with various amenities, including a window with a view, a desk and chair for writing, a closet, a heating system that can be controlled individually, as well as a bathroom with shower.
Ocean Nova has a large dining room and bar. It also features a library and a small gym. Seven Zodiacs are available for wildlife viewing and safe debarkation.
