Day by day

Day 1 : Ushuaia

Upon arrival in Ushuaia, a representative will transfer you to your pre-voyage hotel. If you're already in Ushuaia, proceed to your hotel. Check-in begins at 3:00 pm. In the afternoon, visit the hospitality desk at Las Hayas Ushuaia Resort between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm to collect luggage tags and confirm your participation in the Beagle Channel and Isla de Los Lobos Cruise scheduled for tomorrow. The team will provide embarkation details, address queries, and offer information on dining or last-minute purchases.

Expeditioners arriving after 7:00 pm will find a welcome pack at check-in and should visit the hospitality desk between 8:00 am and 10:00 am the next day.

The rest of the day is free. All meals today are self-funded.

Assigned accommodations: Las Hayas Ushuaia Resort or Los Acebos Ushuaia Hotel.

Day 2 : Embarkation
In the morning, have breakfast and check-out. Ensure your cabin luggage has tags with your name and cabin number. By 11:00 am, take it to the hotel reception for storage and direct transfer to the port. Keep valuables with you.

Explore Ushuaia in the morning at your own pace.

For those interested in the afternoon catamaran cruise, meet at the hotel lobby at 12:15 pm for a 12:30 pm transfer to the port. Sail the Beagle Channel, observing sea lion colonies, cormorants, and various bird species. Alternatively, meet at the hotel lobby at 3:00 pm (or 3:30 pm at the parking lot near the pier) to be transferred to the pier for embarkation.

Once onboard, settle into your cabin before mandatory briefings. Gather on the deck as the ship departs for breathtaking views over Ushuaia and Tierra del Fuego.

In the evening, join fellow expeditioners, the friendly expedition team, and crew for a welcome dinner, marking the beginning of an exciting adventure to Antarctica.

Learn to capture wildlife and landscape shots in a small group photography program, including critiquing sessions and editing classes. Plus, Explorer Boat excursions with a dedicated photography expert on landings.

Achieve the best views and photographs from a forward facing Explorer Boats. They allow you to sit comfortably and securely while crackling through the ice-strewn waters. Look out for wildlife such as penguins, seals and whales as you cruise.
