East Greenland, Scoresby Sund - Aurora Borealis

East Greenland, Scoresby Sund - Aurora Borealis

The expedition begins in Akureyri, Iceland, where you'll board the ship and sail north to Scoresbysund. Along the way, you're likely to see fulmars, kittiwakes, gannets, and common guillemots. You may also spot whales and icebergs.

Once you reach Scoresbysund, you'll have the chance to visit an Inuit settlement abandoned around 200 years ago, see basalt columns and ice formations, and go for a Zodiac cruise near Rode O, one of the world's most cherished iceberg attractions. You'll also have the opportunity to see musk oxen, Arctic hares, and whales.

On the final day of the expedition, you'll disembark in Akureyri.
