Day 1 : Ushuaia

As the capital of Tierra del Fuego province in Argentina, Ushuaia is regarded as the gateway to the Antarctic and the South Pole. Known locally as “El fin del mundo,” this city is nestled at the world’s edge, surrounded by mountains and fertile plains that serve as a sanctuary for wildlife. With its unique location where the Andes meet the sea, Ushuaia stands as one of the most intriguing destinations on Earth, evoking the allure of remote and unreachable places.

 

Day 2 & 3 : Drake Passage

Use the time spent crossing the Drake Passage to get acquainted with your ship and learn about the Antarctic region. The Expedition Leader will explain the rules for landings and provide information about the zodiac excursions. Educational talks on Antarctic history and wildlife will enhance your understanding of this enchanting region. On board, you’ll have opportunities to spot albatrosses, cape petrels, and other seabirds while enjoying the exceptional sailing experience.
